Positive: The location is amazing. The house is the perfect beach house. Polperro is the quintessential seaside experience.

Worst experience ever. Unhygienic, not worth of money. Positive: Location was good that access to beach from back garden. Negative: There was no air conditioning, no Wi-Fi, or TV, only an old DVD player. The house was full of flies due to an overflowing rubbish bin outside with a strong, unpleasant smell. Essential items such as a vacuum cleaner and washing powder were not provided. On arrival, laundry was hanging outside, doors were left open, and keys were hanging on the door, giving the impression the property had been occupied until the last minute. The toilet paper was stored in a floor basket next to the toilet with urine splashes and bugs, which was very unhygienic. Some towels were stained and torn, and the rooms smelled of old clothing and linen. Both children and adults woke up with rashes, which was very concerning.

Positive: Location was wonderful and access to the beach was special. Negative: The place smelt dusty, the beds are great for family and friends but not for paid guests. They are tired and uncomfortable. Theres a lot of extra personal items left around the house, jammed in spare rooms, that made it feel like we someone had to move out just so we could stay. Maybe too many personal items that it felt a bit weird being in someone’s personal space.

Great little house, well loved and good facilities. Close to the town. Very disappointed the beach access was completely Positive: Very cute house full of character and obviously well loved, great proximity to town and beach. Negative: We booked this house for our family holiday due to its immediate proximity to the beach. We were imagining a couple of days not having to get into the car, and popping down to the beach with the kids. Unfortunately it was not mentioned to us that both the path and beach was completely blocked off, and there was no access to the beach at all. This was the whole reason we booked this home, so we were extremely disappointed it wasn’t mentioned. We would have booked elsewhere had it been disclosed.

Unbeatable location but more like a tired family shack than guest accomodation. Positive: The location was unbeatable for proximity to the beach and shops and very quiet. Large lawn area and ample parking. Had everything we needed except wifi but knew that. Negative: Inaccurate description, definitely no tennis court or bowling green. Lounge and dining room furniture needs replacing. House needs reblocking as windows etc don't close properly. Superficial cleaning ok but needs a good spring clean. Has obviously been in the family for many years but too personal for our taste eg children's drawings on the fridge, lots of nicknacks. Difficulty in payment at the host's end.
